Quick Commerce Soars: Delivering 3.4 ROAS and Driving 1 in 2 In-App Orders

Client Challenge
A new quick commerce app launched in KSA, bringing fast delivery of retail products, including fashion, accessories, and electronics, to the Saudi market.
Apart from branded ads on Social Media, the client had no prior experience with performance activities. Achieving a high ROAS was crucial to supporting their business growth in a market recognized for its demanding customers.
Campaign Objective
The client tasked Platformance with delivering high ROAS performance activity in the formof:
- 10,000 in-app orders in the client’s required time frame
- A higher average ordervalue (AOV) than for existing PIK customers
The Platformance Approach
Platformance acted as a one-stop shop for all things performance, including Social, Programmatic & Affiliate, delivering incremental reach and performance both within and outside of walled gardens via:
Mobile Measurement Platform (MMP)
Use of MMP to implement tracking of and deduplication across performance channels, as well as creation of data segments to identify and build look-alikes of high spending customers to drive ahigher AOV
De-risked media investment
Use of CPO guaranteed buying model across select media channels to ensure the client was only paying for their ultimate KPI, not for the media required
