In the competitive GCC eCommerce space, competing e-retailers were gaining traction, requiring a global leader eCommerce marketplace to reinforce its dominance through a fresh, customer-centric approach.

Our Approach

Platformance acted as exclusive influencer partner for the client in UAE. This involved:

  • Collaborating with 200+ influencers across Snapchat, Instagram & X. These influencers advertised products available on the marketplace, directing users to the platform
    Managing unique UTM tracking links, ensuring performance could be traced back to individual influencers
  • Setting up a post-paid revenue-share model tying influencer activation to measurable gross merchandise value (GMV)
  • Creating platform-specific branded content for further amplification

The Results

$2M+ in GMV tied directly to influencer partnerships. The speed at which we delivered these results speak for themselves: our sales accounted for 37% of the UAE and 74% of KSA annual target for this channel, all achieved with in one quarter.
