THE CHALLENGE

For our client, a global financial services company, Ramadan is a key moment to drive visibility across the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. During this period, remittance activity typically increases as expatriate communities send money home to support family.

The campaign needed to capture this heightened demand while clearly communicating the brand’s value proposition. Messaging focused on competitive foreign exchange rates, the ease and global reach of the client’s app, and the Ramadan cash prize promotion running in the United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

To land these messages effectively, the brand required creators who could communicate directly with audiences in their native language.

OUR APPROACH

1. Market-specific creator activation
Our creator discovery tool, CloutScout, identified creators with strong audience concentration in the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, with at least one creator based in each of the countries. This allowed the campaign to build a creator mix aligned with each market and ensured local audience coverage.

2. Native language communication
CloutScout’s language filtering capability enabled the identification of creators producing content in the specific languages requested by the client.
This ensured campaign messages were delivered in the audience’s native language. For remittance audiences, this improves clarity when explaining financial services, increases trust in the message, and makes app usage and promotional mechanics easier to understand.

3. Cross-platform rollout
The campaign ran across Instagram and TikTok to maximise reach during Ramadan. These platforms enabled creator-led discovery and allowed the content to travel across multiple audience segments in the three target markets.
