Curated creators bringing card benefits to life

The Objectives.
This campaign was designed to raise awareness for the various travel benefits that Mastercard offers cardholders. The brand wanted to use creators who could convey their two core messages:
- Premium travel experiences made possible through Mastercard.
- Practical travel hacks. The idea was to generate engaging content that could be further amplified by the brand through paid ads.
Our Approach.
With our proprietary Creator Discovery tool, CloutScout, we identified 8 creators with a travel and lifestyle angle who also resonated with the two core messaging pillars. Each concept was then mapped to the most suitable creator and platform across Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, ensuring the strongest fit between content format, audience and channel. We further used the tool to minimise audience overlap between the creators selected to less than 1%. This meant that 99% of followers were unique to the respective creator, maximising resonance across multiple markets.
Our influencer marketplace PerformR enabled rapid mobilisation enabling us to move from brief to go-live in just 4 days.
The creators brought Mastercard’s travel benefits to life through two content streams:
- Travel Experiences: Curated trips to Paris and London highlighting Mastercard’s exclusive perks.
- Travel Hacks & Benefits: Clear, educational content explaining the Mastercard Travel Pass app.
In collaboration with Mastercard’s agency, Carat, we advised two key creators to create Pinterest profiles, enhancing their reach. This initiative resulted in over 130k clicks and a strong 0.4% engagement rate.
The Results
The creators published 22 posts. Most of these drove better engagement rates than the creators’ average, emphasizing the outsized importance of our collaboration with Carat and the client, as well as the strength of our strategic approach in selecting and mapping content theme to the right creator and platform. We also drove:
350M+ Total views, significantly boosting visibility for Mastercard’s travel benefits. The brand was also able to boost creator content for further amplification
